Why We Rejected 15 Priced Clients Last Month

Why it is important to identify the right organisations

Being in the field of management consultancy, it is our duty to serve entrepreneurs who seek advice from us. And with constant enquiries and leads flowing in, we are pretty much happy to be of service to each and every client. But yet, it might come as a surprise when we say we had to reject 15 of our priced leads, isn’t it? Read on to find why.

A lot of people come to us with a plethora of requirements ranging from registering their business as private limited companies, getting GST registration to registering trademarks for their brands. But the fact is, many a time, they come with a little to no knowledge about what they actually need and what their capabilities are. In fact, many are even unaware of their cash flow and resources at hand! But it’s quite usual and the clients can’t be blamed because it stems out of the lack of awareness most times.

So we ask them questions, try to understand their background, cash flow, skills, people associated with them, their family, their ambition etc. Even here, they might not have clear answers to some questions and it’s only when they are asked these questions, they begin to think about these. Slowly, they start to form pictures and graphs in their minds and guess what? Now they have a direction!

Students, people coming into business with no prior experience running a business, people who are in business for all wrong reasons, all fall in this category. And after interacting with them, we now have an almost definite idea as to whether they really need to be in a business or do they have the flair to create an impact in the already competitive markets they choose. And when we convince them that a business organization might not be a good choice for them, no matter how much backup they might have, they themselves decide to change plans. After all, it’s about guiding people to the right choices rather than minting money for our own organization that matters lest in the long run, we repent.

We believe and we suggest that a person who is unsure of the field of business he/she ventures into, or one who has not enough money as backup to sustain his/her family and run business simultaneously for one year without income from business shall not start a private limited company unless otherwise you are pretty sure that your product or service is definitely going to create an impact. Entrepreneurs should identify the suitable organisations. Same is the case with GST. People who do not fall in the bracket of GST or who do not have business reasons to register GST shall not and need not register for GST.

Our questions create realisation in our client's mind and they are thankful to us for directing them in the right path. We have met people who want to come to business but do not know what business they need to do. Unending passion should ultimately be the driving force for any business if it is to thrive amongst the competition and stay ahead of the game.

For a person transforming to an entrepreneur, his/her life revolves around the business. If he/she fails in choosing the right business, right organisation or right compliances, it can be a fatal blow to him/her and their family. Many do not survive the first negative impact. Are we scaring entrepreneurs away? Definitely not! With an impressive track record for helping entrepreneurs become game changers, we are always curious to find and upbring aspiring entrepreneurs. But this is just a reminder that when you so aspire, be sure to have clear answers and should be positive about what you choose. That way, even in times of crises like a pandemic we are going through right now, your business would still run ahead, quite gracefully!
